I need to buy a car.
I only need to transport 1-4 people.

I can spend about $60k MAX.

But I am actually fine with spending 20K-ish.

I have no brand loyalty whatsoever.

Should I go used or new?

Thunderbolt all the way baby.

RE: I need to buy a car.
Depends, do you want to do the work yourself? Or are you ok with some moron tinkering with your only mode of transportation?

Personally I'm selling my car because I've had enough of dealing with the BS that comes with new cars, you're welcome to it, asking 13k and its negotiable within reason.

Also what do you want out of the car? Genitalia extension? or Just a good quality car to transport 1-4 people?

Do you want an SUV? Compact car? Full size car? Truck? What will you be doing with it? Any renovations planned in the future? Do you want to tow a small trailer with it? a large trailer? No trailer?

Need more info.

RE: I need to buy a car.
I personally will never buy new again,
Buying a one year old car, allows for warranty and someone else sucking up a huge depreciation
Buy a new car today for 30k and you might get 24-26k next week.
Buy a one year old car for 30k and its still worth 30k next week.

Look into a Golf/Jetta/Tiguan(if you like SUVs).

Your price range leaves a lot of room for options or whatever, we need some more info. You could get the 4 door Golf GTI all spec'd out, that is a kick ass fun car. Maybe get a top of the line Jetta?

If you like SUVs get the Tiguan which is a good SUV with decent space inside, if you want a more roomy feel then move to the Touareg (you will hit that 60k cap quickly with this one though).

Toyota, cheaper rates. More airbags teh better. If you dont' need to drive far, get a volt, save the enviroment.

I even forget you can see sigs.

Not a Golf, and as for the Jetta I can BARELY fit in the front seat nevermind the back.

Really? You do know the seat can be adjusted right? This is my Jetta and I have zero problems fitting in it or any other VW, Golfs included:

Yes i know its adjustable, with it completely down and back i still feel cramped, mostly headroom wise.

The Golf theres zero leg room.
