Word found unreadable content
Hello community.
I am new to this website and am seeking some advice. Are there members who use Microsoft Office? I was given a Word format file to do a simple changes. But Word won't let me save the file.
After saving the file this error message occurred:
Word found unreadable content in filename
Also
An Unknown error has occured
The version of office is Microsoft Office 2016
Windows 8
Dell Latitude 13 7000 Laptop
Any thoughts why it is happening?

RE: Word found unreadable content
Do you have Word>Preferences>Save>"Always create backup copy" turned on? If you do, a complete backup of the file is in the same folder as the original, labelled "Backup of..." If it's not turned on, now would be a good time. For more detailed information on how to fix Word errors HERE
