Won't Stand Behind Their Refund Policy
An $800 graphics card was purchased on Boxing Day at the Newmarket location at Davis Dr. & Leslie St. Upon opening the box it was found to be defective. They would not accept returns on 12/26 or 12/27 so we had to go back today. Despite this being an immediate issue they refused to exchange it for one not broken. Bottom line, they have charged us $800 for something that can only go in the garbage. They don't stand behind their warranty & will accuse you of breaking it yourself. Attempted to call 2 customer service & head office #'s and nobody answers. Both Store Mgr Bill Chang & the Asst'd Dave refused to exchange. The Newmarket store then called the police to have us removed. We will be picketing tomorrow. Steer clear.

They still had one of the items in stock and all we wanted was an exchange which they refused. When I said we weren't leaving, they picked up the phone & called the police. I guess they figured an old lady and her son were a serious threat. Not 1 but 2 police cars showed up and when Dave was questioned he claimed there was nothing he could do as per their policy. This was false as their policy allows for a full refund (we only wanted an exchange as we wanted the product) within 14 days for defective product. So basically they sent my son out the door with an $800 broken item that couldn't be used from the second the box was opened.

Take pictures of the video card's fan and CC receipt. Call the customer service of the manufacture explaining what happened. They usually send a new fan with instructions (usually with free shipping).

LOL CC's customer service is non-existent. Good luck even getting them to answer a phone, let alone respond to an e-mail. Probably best to call the manufacturer.
