That doesn't hold water. They don't even list PSU's above 1000W. It's not even in the choice menu anymore. I was waiting for EVGA's 1300W GT PSU's to be in stock. They don't even have a listing for anything higher than 1000W. The entire category has been erased.

RE: Canada Computers Website Suggestion Box
I think that CC would do much better if they extended their 15 day return policy. It should be a minimum of 30 days.
Most people when building a new computer do it in their spare time. Some people have more spare time than others.
I plan out my build before ordering the parts then I order them all in one go. Sometimes things take longer because one of the parts ordered is backordered and I want to start the build now. It will take me longer than 15 days to fire it up completed. By then the 15 day return is past and I'm sol if something doesn't work. You have replacement warranty packages that are 1 year to 3 year. Why can't you give what most other companies give which is a 30 day policy?
I like to take my time building my computer and will do some modifications as I build. That takes time. If I have to purchase the 1 year return warranty for every item on my build list the costs increase.
I can shop somewhere else where I get the same warranty without paying extra. Shipping is free and return shipping is free. Warranty is for 1 year on everything. Prices collectively are less than yours if I take your warranty costs into consideration.
I can see why your business is declining. That and lack of inventory is slowly killing your business.

This is the reason, if you look at competitor message boards where they actually talk with customers you will see this as the reason for the shortage of high wattage PSU. A ton of people are GPU mining, this is why AMD GPUs are in short supply and so overpriced, they have to be powered by something.

CC may have decided to deal with this by removing the entries on the site to prevent orders, who knows...

RE: Canada Computers Website Suggestion Box
If they don't advertise it on their website does that mean they still sell it in the store?
I've never heard of them doing that. I put my order in with the competition back in late Jan.
I haven't received it yet because the supplier keeps pushing back the shipping date.
Now there is a trucker's strike going on at the docks which has delayed it yet again.
People seem quite supportive of the strike because too many unregulated trucking companies have driven down the wages for truckers so now they are fighting back.

I did find the PSU at NewE** but they've inflated the price on it as well. They want $150 more than what everyone else is selling it for. That is why they still carry stock and are the only ones that have stock.

Back order got to 30+ on most of these PSU's at one point (they've all seemed to have cancelled them at this point since we have maybe six orders left) and the major problem is no clear ETA from Manufacturers (Corsair said maybe June) so we just wait and twiddle our thumbs until the market re-balances.

RE: Canada Computers Website Suggestion Box
Sometimes its frustrating when every item you search for comes up with ZERO stock level in every city.

Could the ZERO stock level items be displayed in a different color, maybe a grey font color? That way I would know that you carry that item, but its currently out of stock

Thanks
