RE: Free-to-own games
Origin has BF4 Second Assault on free, today is the last day to get it.

Go to free games > on the house to get it.

Yes that's right, ALL five BF4 expansions FREE!

P.S.: BF4 is currently on sale on Origin for $20! That means BF4 + all five expansions for $20!

RE: Free-to-own games
OK, so looks like UBI-SOFT is doing some sort of promo where they are giving away free games once a month from June until December 2016 of this year.

I didn't know that. I managed to scoop up Prince of Persia in June 2016, but looks like I missed out on Splinter Cell (July) and Rayman Origins (August).

Right now you can grab The Crew for Septembers game. Randomly was notfied when I went to go play Watch Dogs today. Grabbed the game. Might as well launch up your Uplay account and scoop up the games. Don't know if its any good or not but added it to my library.

The Crew is a decent game.

+ The map is huge! From one end to the other it takes almost 30 minutes to cross the map. Roughly 120 in-game kilometers, so with the starting car that goes about 250 km/h top speed, it takes almost 30 minutes to cross the map.
+ Lots of exploration to do in standard Ubisoft fashion (find a data station, everything around it will be revealed on your map, then go collect stuff for bonus cars and upgrades, pretty much identical to what you would do in Assassin's Creed to collect all the flags and stuff...)
+ Freeroam is online if you're connected to the Internet, so it's easy to start having fun randomly with other players when just playing around outside of any story mission.
+ Decent graphics, the game is a few years old. They upgraded the assets and added rain in the "Wild Run" DLC update. You don't need to purchase the Wild Run DLC to get the updated graphics and rain effects, it's part of the base game as well. You just can't access Wild Run specific content without the DLC.

- Car physics can be a little "odd" at times
- Requires Uplay (ok Uplay itself isn't bad but I'm up to 4 game clients on my PC now (Steam, Origin, Battle.net, Uplay), I just don't want any more clients...)

P.S. I think you missed it, I had just posted up The Crew on this thread yesterday evening. I hate how our forums group back-to-back posts from the same user into a single post, so it doesn't stand out, it looks like it's part of my BF4 post.

RE: Free-to-own games
Thanks for the link bud. How is Dungeon Keeper? Any good?

Based on SS, it looks like a poor mans version of Diablo 1, which BTW Diablo 1 has excellent replay value and I still have it on my system today. That game was extremely fun.

Sorry, haven't played it at all. Currently on a Cities: Skylines binge Smile
