Something squeaking
for the last couple months something has been squeaking inside my case and after today i have ruled out all of my case fans as they are all freshly lubed. aside from fans what else could be squeaking, its not any drives but is it possible its the pump in my liquid cooler? its a couple years old and is a corsair closed loop.
any thoughts?

RE: Something squeaking
I would honestly just do custom at the point. If you aren't confident, find someone like Bungz who is and pay them to do it. I've seen people RMA their corsairs five or six times to no avail...
Also make sure it's the problem. While I'm certain it is, there is always a chance.

I even forget you can see sigs.

heh.

It could vary from use. If it's spinning slower then it won't make noise.

I even forget you can see sigs.

RE: Something squeaking
you can just stick your finger on each fan to stop it and see it the sound goes away.
I just push down on the center hub cause the blades kinda hurt
work your way around each case fan, then finish with the GPU - smaller fans make more noise.

hell ya, I could build you a custom loop but its not in anyway economical.
