Okay help me out here.
I'm making the USB lamp from this;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpQtXtARvDQ

But it's not that helpful.

I want to add a switch, and a less powerful lightbulb, but it won't tell me that. I'll be honest, i never did well in this part of science. I was more a bio/chem man myself.

So, how can i calculate what kind of resister i need to use (OHM to voltage i think, or whatever), also i want to add a switch in, and i'm not certian of that either Tongue.

I even forget you can see sigs.

heh.

IDK, but maybe you are thinking too much into this?

3.5 V LED + 68 ohm resistor... attached to the black and red wires of the USB?

Wouldn't the resister changed for a weaker or stronger current?

I even forget you can see sigs.

I dunno, but USB output voltage strength is static... the resistors job is to make sure the bulb doesn't suck up too much juice.

Exactly, so I need to make sure i hate the right ohm on the reister to make sure i'm not overjoicing the bulb, since the tut i have gave me the wrong one for what i have.

And Peter, wat?

I even forget you can see sigs.
